BAPTISM

Jesus said, “Believe and be baptized in water.” Later Jesus added that all His followers should be baptized: “Go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” For a repenting, believing person, water baptism was evidence of their repentance and belief
• Jesus demonstrated water baptism and commanded it for His followers.
• The apostles and the early church practiced it.
• Every New Testament believer responded to it.
• Baptism is normative in the New Testament for every believer.
• Baptism is critical for the sanctified life of the disciple of Christ.

No matter how long you have been following God, we would love to help you take the next step in your relationship with Christ! Are you ready?

Note to parents: Based on biblical precedent and decades of ministry, we believe the experience of baptism is much more impactful and memorable if your child waits until at least 12 years old. The desire for our children to be baptized as a child is often rooted in the belief that the act of baptism is salvific. But this idea is simply not supported by the Bible.
